The beginning of the largest circular we have built to date. This helical inspired monster will have built in wall guards and negative rise infinity treads which will be backlit with LED's. The jig wall stands over 20' tall, so we had to build a temporary lamination station to get these glued up.
It took 11 of us to get this up and positioned in the right spot. More pics to come as this awesome stair comes to life.
Quick little post on a cool boardroom table we recently wrapped up for our good friends at Tyger Shark. Check it!
The table top is 1-3/4 x 60 x 132 - super heavy!

We ordered this machine 2 months ago and she arrived yesterday at our shop. Electrical gets run tomorrow, set up is Thursday. This is the most advanced stair CNC on the market, there is only a handful here in Canada.
This machine will run our stringers (rise & run). It takes us 3-4hrs to layout and run our stringers by hand. This machine will complete them in 15mins with zero human error. We have the options to run open rise, negative rise, infinity and open stringers along with routing our tread returns.
Take a look, videos of it up and running coming to you next week!

It has been a month or two since I last updated our galleries. Take a look, added some really amazing projects we were a part of. May 1st - time sure is flying, enjoy your week everyone!

We couldn't be more stoked to unveil an art piece we had commissioned by our pals at Doublenaut. We are huge fans of their work and proudly display a few of their other prints here at The Haus. We have a wall in our showroom that needed something special to liven it up. Ross Proulx, graphic artist/designer knocked our piece out of the park. We provided him with a few ideas/concepts that represent what we do and he came up with this.
We cant wait to hang this up on our wall (24"x96" - BIG!!!). Take a look at what they do, they are way too good!
Cheers

Carpet Grade Stairs - 2-3 weeks
Standard stain grade - 4-5 weeks
Open Rise/Circulars - 5-6 weeks
Steel Stairs - 6+ weeks

We will do our best to meet your deadline however it has to be realistic! Stairs SHOULD be installed before any finished floor (hardwood/ceramic/laminate). If you have any questions please don't hesitate to give us a call or send us an email!
Cheers!

Packed Showroom
What a night! On Wednesday, Feb. 15th, we were lucky enough to host an event sanctioned by The Barrie Chamber of Commerce called "Business After 5". We packed 150+ people into our facility (one of the biggest events they have ever had) giving them the first opportunity to see our completed showroom. We provided tours of our shop, the food was catered by Liberty North (soo good thank you!) and we were able to hand out some awesome door prizes (big thanks to Dryve Design for the clothing sponsorship).
We really appreciate what the Chamber does for small businesses like us. The night went better than we expected, thanks to everyone who took time out of their day to check us out. I encourage any local small business to get involved with the Barrie Chamber. There are many network opportunities like this event, which will help you grow your business and get noticed.

We are quickly approaching our 2 year anniversary and it was about time we had our showroom completed! We recently hosted the "Business After 5" event held by the Barrie Chamber of Commerce (biggest event to date I must humbly add). This open-house was the kick in the you-know-what to get everything finished. If you had been in our showroom before all we had were a few feature walls and a couple railing displays.
Our crews spent countless hours picking away at our space and we are now proud to say it is 100% complete. There is really nothing like it in our industry, a true game changer. This showroom is the ultimate playground for builders/designers and anyone who wants to make their stairs cool!
Scroll through the gallery below to see what the finished room looks like now!
TOMORROW NIGHT! Curious to see what we are all about? Drop by tomorrow night between 5-7pm for our very first open house. Our entire shop/showroom will be open to the public for the first time.
The Barrie Chamber of Commerce Presents:
Business After 5 - Stairhaus
Chamber members, prospective members, and guests are invited to network while enjoying Hors d'Oeuvres and refreshments! There is a cash bar too!
Catered by: Liberty North
