This change, already accepted in other Canadian provinces, will allow horizontal elements like cable rail in guard design.

Just like that, 2020 is coming to an end and the New Year is almost here!
While 2020 has certainly had it's challanges & difficulties it has also been filled with some amazing projects & opportunities - we've been a part of some incredible builds and renovations, started a brand new business and moved in to our new building. We are defintiely grateful to be where we are, and look forward to all that this New Year will bring.
Our office and shop will be CLOSED on New Year's Eve & New Year's Day and we will resume our regular business hours on Monday January 4th. Thank you again to all have supported us throughout this year, we can't wait to see what 2021 has in store for us!

If you've been following us over the past several months you may have noticed that its been a big year for the Stairhaus team. We bought our own building and set up shop in our 300 Vespra location and in the midst of global pandemic, we even started a new business! This past March, our sister company Steelhaus Inc. opened their doors at the 20 Mills location in the south end of Barrie - as you can imagine, starting a brand new business during a pandemic definitely brough it's own set of challanges, but all thanks to the incredible support of customers like you, Steelhaus has been busier than ever.
Steelhaus specializes in custom steel fabrication of many varieties and often times works closely alongside the Stairhaus team to provide customers with top quality, custom steel products. Whether it be c-channel stringers, mono stringers, spiral stairs, custom fabricated railing systems, interior or exterior, Steelhaus does it all!
You'll often see Steelhaus featured on our social media but a great place to keep tabs on the incredible projects they have on the go is to follow their pages as well: you can find them on facebook & instagram at Steelhaus Inc. If you are interested in getting started with your own steel project, don't hesitate to call in or send an email through to info@steelhaus.co and they would be more than happy to assist you.

It seems hard to believe that it could be September already and Fall is fast approaching. This past Summer at Stairhaus has been full of so many incredible opportunities and projects and we are so grateful to all of you for making it all possible!

It’s hard to believe that next week will be July 1st – the summer is already flying by! In light of this public holiday, we wanted to update you on our plans to adjust our hours next week.
Our hours will be as follows:
OPEN:
Monday June 29th – Thursday July 2nd – 8am – 5pm
CLOSED:
Friday July 3rd
Will resume normal business hours Monday July 6th
Instead of closing our shop on July 1st, we have decided to remain open that Wednesday and instead close on the Friday, July 3rd to give our team a well-deserved long weekend. During that time feel free to reach out via email or leave a message at our office and we will happily follow up with you when we open again the following Monday. As we continue to deal with the current circumstance and adjust to new routines, we are certainly spending a lot more time in our homes. Wow, what a wild time in our lives! We take the COVID-19 outbreak very seriously here at The Haus and wanted to let you know that we are doing everything we can to make sure our employees/customers are not exposed to this nasty illness.
We are not shutting down, we are not limiting our hours however we are closely monitoring who we see, our showroom visits and shop tours.
We hope this passes over sooner than later so that things go back to normal. Stay safe out there!
Stairhaus is Moving!
From the day this business began almost 5 years ago, our team has worked with a vision of something greater in mind. As this business has grown, bringing with it both new challenges and new milestones it is incredible to see just where that vison has taken us today.
If you’ve been keeping a close eye on our website and social media you may have noticed our latest news – Stairhaus has purchased its very own building! This new shop is 3x larger than our current facility, allowing for improved production, state of the art equipment and ample space to accommodate our present and future needs. We believe this new building will serve us and our business far better so we can ultimately serve you better! It is loyalty and support from customers like you that has fueled and launched our success, making this move both possible and necessary. With that being said we are very aware that a move like this requires a lot of time and attention to complete and your continued support would be greatly appreciated.
To ensure that this move goes as seamlessly as possible, we have decided to shut down production from February 3rd-7th. During this time, you will still be able to contact our office via phone or email and while we will do our best to respond as promptly as possible, we ask for your patience and understanding as responses may be delayed. Our plan is for production to start up again in our new shop as of February 10th. While our shop location is moving, our office location and contact information will remain the same until further notice.

We are halfway through winter and we are busier than ever! I just wanted to take a quick minute of your time and remind you all to plan ahead! We are currently 2-3 weeks for carpet grade stairs, 4-5 weeks for stain grade standard stairs and 5-6 weeks for open rise stairs. If you want fabricated steel stairs we are currently booked out 8 weeks.
