Stairhaus & Doublenaut

We couldn't be more stoked to unveil an art piece we had commissioned by our pals at Doublenaut.  We are huge fans of their work and proudly display a few of their other prints here at The Haus.  We have a wall in our showroom that needed something special to liven it up.  Ross Proulx, graphic artist/designer knocked our piece out of the park.  We provided him with a few ideas/concepts that represent what we do and he came up with this.

We cant wait to hang this up on our wall (24"x96" - BIG!!!).  Take a look at what they do, they are way too good!

Showroom is now complete!

We are quickly approaching our 2 year anniversary and it was about time we had our showroom completed!  We recently hosted the "Business After 5" event held by the Barrie Chamber of Commerce (biggest event to date I must humbly add).  This open-house was the kick in the you-know-what to get everything finished.  If you had been in our showroom before all we had were a few feature walls and a couple railing displays.

Our crews spent countless hours picking away at our space and we are now proud to say it is 100% complete. There is really nothing like it in our industry, a true game changer. This showroom is the ultimate playground for builders/designers and anyone who wants to make their stairs cool!

Barrie Chamber of Commerce Presents: "Business After 5 - Stairhaus"

We are really excited to host the Barrie Chamber of Commerce "Business After 5" meet & greet on Feb. 15th. This is our first opportunity to show off our one of a kind, state of the art, stair & railing showroom. Come for a tour of our shop and see how we build all those cool stairs!

The event will be catered by Liberty North, there will be a cash bar and we have some great prizes to give away.

Mono-Stringer + Graffiti = Stairhaus

Probably one of the coolest/one-of-a-kind set of stairs you will ever see. We installed this monster mono-stringer yesterday after the very talented SAGE tagged it up. We commissioned Toronto's #1 graffiti artist to bring this stringer to life. The artwork wraps around all 4 sides and looks killer against the barn board/reclaimed steel feature walls. These stairs will be getting 3" reclaimed elm treads which are drilled for low profile LED lighting accents. More updates on this beauty in the coming weeks.
