This is mega overdue! Today I uploaded 40+ pictures of some really radical jobs we have been a part of over the summer. Let us know what you think! Here is a small taste of what we just updated in our galleries.
Open Rise/Self Support Assembly On-site
Check out this cool time lapse of a open rise, self support oak stair with a built-in landing being assembled in a custom cottage.

Head on over to our gallery and check out some of our recent work!
Early Christmas present..................
Our new sanding beast has arrived (drum sander = 4000 lbs). It has dual heads with a finishing brush. It took a while to find the right machine for us - it's like Christmas here at the Haus!
This machine will help manufacturing timelines and our overall quality will be even better. Electrical hook-up today, dust collection hook-up tomorrow - we can't wait to fire this monster up!
Really Cool Stairs #13 - The "Scarlett O'Hara" Staircase
You need a huge front entrance way for one of these stair systems! These are not as common anymore as people are trying to maximize the use/space of their front entrance ways. The classic Scarlett O'Hara staircase has 2 sweeping circulars sharing a common landing. Take a look at these pieces of art!
Really Cool Stairs #12 - Stairs made out of Reclaimed Materials
Short and sweet! Here are a few pics of some cool stairs I found on the web that are made from reclaimed materials. We have quite a few requests now for stairs/railings to be made out of parts of a barn, as this is one of the reasons why we got into the reclaimed wood industry.
Take a look!
Really Cool Stairs #11 - Concrete Stairs
For the record, we do not build concrete stairs! In my opinion however, if you want to accomplish an ultra contemporary look, concrete is a must. They may look cold and dull however their sharp lines and grey-scale appearance give them a very desirable look to any edgy architect. Take a gander through a few pictures I found, I honestly think concrete may be the way I go when I build my next house!
