Wood Mono-stringer Assembly On-site
How it's done! This time lapse is of 2x mono-stringer installation/assembly on-site. Due to the stairs requiring double birds mouths, we are unable to swing them into position. How do we get around this? We have to build/laminate and veneer them in the hole. Stay tuned for the time lapse tread install.

This is an open 1 side winderbox/circular stair being assembled. The wall stringers are straight and the inside stringer is circular. We built this stair in an amazing build by our friends ANT Homes in Innsifil, ON.

Reclaimed Materials Division - Stairhaus Inc.
Stairs & railings are our forte however our reclaimed materials division has grown to be one of the largest retail locations in Ontario. We stock barn board, threshing floor, barn beams, repurposed steel roofing and more. If we don’t stock it we will find it. Here is a quick time lapse of Mitch & Simon wrapping a wood mono-stringer. We use one layer of Stairhaus poly, 1 layer or cardboard with mdf tread covers stapled to each tread.
